Jana and Pete at the canal

This Saturday marks the first wedding of 2025 and I couldn’t be more excited. I met Jana through a mutual friend and client when she and her daughters joined us for a spooky Halloween family session. The kids were all decked out in their creepy costumes and we took some great shots in the woods complete with colorful smoke bombs and fake blood. I was thrilled when Jana reached out to me earlier in the year to ask me to photograph her winter wedding! We soon got an engagement session on the books and a few weeks ago, I met her and her fiancé, Pete by the Fairport canal for some romantic photos. The light on the canal was beautiful and we made quick work of creating a fun gallery that I think really represents them as a couple. I’m so surprised that this is my first shoot at main st. Fairport! It’s a great location and I plan to keep it in mind for shoots in the future. I’m happy to share a few favorites from their gallery here.
